Marni Pre-Fall Collection 2013

Consuelo Castiglioni, one of the regular and bright customers of The Marni, is a dress-wearing, print- and embellishment-loving girl and usually doesn't choose the androgynous look for herself.

For Pre-Fall, however, she swapped things up, casting masculine suits and military-inspired outfits as supporting characters for feminine dresses in curvy floral prints. High Hitched Belts gave the girlish boxy shapes, A-line swing typical of Marni.

Dizzy accessories like yeti gloves and fox and mink stoles with detachable nylon hoods in contrasting colors provided the quirk. Count on Castiglioni to whip up the most creative furs around. This season's main contender is a white shearling peacoat with a gold foil exterior. Not even a pair of men's pants could dispel the shimmering charm of that.
