At Pakistan Fashion Week 3 London 2012, Obaid Sheikh put
forth a rich ornamented collection of traditional Pakistani dresses.
Obaid Sheikh Collection won the kudos for its exquisite
touch of modernity in traditional cuts.
Among the number of Pakistani fashion designers
showcasing their collections at PFW 3 was the Obaid Sheikh who came forward
with his smooth creation of outfits such as bridal lehengas, saris, kaftans,
formal long shirts linked up with trousers and churidar pajamas.
There was also a Men wedding collection highlighting
sherwanis and shirts in fabulous banarsi fabric and plain trousers. The necklines
of menswear had delicate sequin work whereas bridal collection was fully
designed with heavy embroideries and artistic work over black, magenta, deep
blue, maroon and fuchsia.
